Welcome to our new blog. Here is where you can find out what is going on with Jamie, Landon, and Emily. Now, I know most of you will only come to this blog to see how cute little Emily is doing, so I plan to be updating what is going on in her life constantly. Call it a mini version of the "The Truman Show," but by blogging. Emily is approaching the one year mark, and I have so many stories about her that I could write a book about her. I love her red hair, her chubby cheeks, she gets those from me, and the smiles she gives us to show her two front teeth. Lately, Emily loves to eat suckers, and she gets her hands sticky too. Somehow she found the toilet paper, and the pieces she ripped off stuck all over her face, arms, and even hair. We like to call her the toilet paper monster.
Jamie and I are keeping busy with school, Scentsy, and the holiday season approaching. Aren't the holiday seasons great? I am excited to smell the turkey in the oven, with mash potatoes and gravy, honey baked ham, some pumpkin pie, along with 10 other deserts. You get to hear cousins, aunts, uncles, people, who you usually don't see during the year, laughing, chatting about all the interesting things that happened to them this year. Thanksgiving is the time when Americans can be Americans; they can eat all the food they want, watch all the football, all the basketball, see the holiday movies, and be together with their families. I can't wait. I know Emily's favorite month is going to be in November. She gets to have her Birthday and Thanksgiving in the same month. She will get all the food she wants and a lot of toys to play with. Could there be anything better?I wish I was Emily.
